There is a reason the Pioneers’ destination was Oregon’s Willamette Valley; it is a land of fertile soils, plentiful water and mild temperatures, located on the 45th Parallel of the earth.
I specialize in Willamette Valley homes, farms and ranches, which are dear to my heart, and commercial property. As a veteran Realtor, I have helped many clients from their first home purchase to their dream home; on other occasions, I have helped seniors to downsize, and overseen the turnover of cherished family farms to new generations of farmers. In addition to residences and farms, I have sold or leased apartment buildings, churches, restaurants and warehouses.
I grew up on a cattle ranch and wheat farm in the Idaho panhandle. I purchased my first home at age 19, and firmly believe that home ownership is step one to financial security. After college, I moved to Oregon and worked several years for Canby Utility Board, followed by 35 years as co-owner of a construction firm. I participated in real estate sales and development of our family farms. This series of subdivision projects spanned around 25 years from start to finish.
My background gave me awareness of soils and water, site development, utilities, planning, construction costs, tax consideration, negotiation and more. My experience as a real estate consumer taught me what people need from their agent, and has been extremely helpful to me in assisting my clients in valuing, planning and purchasing property. Above all else, integrity is of highest importance.
I am a member of Portland Regional MLS and Willamette Valley MLS, and work mostly in Clackamas, Marion, Washington and Yamhill counties.
